Volunteer Opportunities

Literacy Center of West Michigan

Share our love of reading with an adult who struggles to understand such everyday materials as newspapers, road signs, job applications, and instructions. Or volunteer to help an immigrant or refugee adjust to the language of this country.

All it takes is a time commitment of 3 to 4 hours per week. You can tutor in the daytime or in the evening. Tutoring takes place in public, supervised locations such as libraries, churches, and office buildings.

It only takes a few hours each week to change someone's life through literacy! For more information call 616.459.5151 or visit the website at http://www.literacycenterwm.org
